Liam Lawson was promoted to the main Red Bull Formula 1 team but lasted only two races before being demoted back to sister team Racing Bulls. Despite not scoring a point yet this season, team chief executive Peter Bayer is positive about his return. Bayer noted that Lawson initially looked sad but quickly returned to his old self, known for his great racing skills and sense of humor.

The 23-year-old New Zealander knew the people, tools, and set-up at Racing Bulls, which helped him recover. French rookie teammate Isack Hadjar has opened his account, but Lawson's potential remains.
