Madrid's Grand Prix Circuit Unveiled: A Spectacular Racing Adventure
The layout of Madrid's new Spanish Grand Prix circuit has been revealed, featuring exciting corners and overtaking opportunities.

The organisers of Madrid's new Spanish Grand Prix venue have disclosed the 22-corner circuit layout. It includes an extremely banked corner named 'La Monumental', which is reminiscent of the city's bull fighting arena. The circuit is predominantly based on public roads around the IFEMA exhibition centre. The 'Monumental' section, 500m long and banked at 24%, is expected to be a standout feature, taking an F1 car approximately six seconds to pass through. Drivers will exit this banked part into an overtaking opportunity at Turn 13. The circuit starts with a left-right section and has various other challenging and strategic turns. Carlos Sainz, an ambassador for the event, attended the launch on Friday.
