A Grades

The Creighton Bluejays had an excellent season despite facing setbacks. Greg McDermott's efforts were remarkable, and Ryan Kalkbrenner's achievements were notable. The Memphis Tigers, under Penny Hardaway's coaching, had a successful season, winning multiple championships. The Saint Mary's Gaels, led by Randy Bennett, won the West Coast Conference regular-season crown. The St. John's Red Storm had a strong defensive unit and won multiple championships but had an early exit in the NCAA tournament. The Xavier Musketeers had a good season with Zach Freemantle's return.

B Grades

The DePaul Blue Demons improved significantly under Chris Holtmann in their first season. The Georgetown Hoyas had a decent season but were affected by injuries.

C Grades

The Gonzaga Bulldogs struggled and finished second in the WCC. The Marquette Golden Eagles had a promising start but stumbled later. The UConn Huskies failed to meet expectations. The Villanova Wildcats had some wins but struggled overall.

D Grades

The Butler Bulldogs had a disappointing season. The Providence Friars were affected by injuries and had a poor season. The Seton Hall Pirates had a dismal season after a strong showing last year.
