Buffalo Bills OTAs: Newcomers Shine and Special Guests Inspire
The Buffalo Bills kick off OTAs with standout performances from newcomers and inspiring visits from special guests like Vince Carter.

The Buffalo Bills have officially begun their Organized Team Activities (OTAs), and the atmosphere is electric. With new faces and returning veterans, the team is gearing up for what promises to be an exciting season. Here’s a closer look at the highlights from the first week of OTAs.
Elijah Moore’s First Impressions
Wide receiver Elijah Moore couldn’t hide his excitement after catching a pass from quarterback Josh Allen. "I couldn't do nothing but just smile at the way that it felt, the way that it just seemingly hit me in the chest," Moore said. After spending his first four seasons with the New York Jets and Cleveland Browns, Moore is thrilled to be part of the Bills' dynamic offense.
A Welcoming Receiver Room
Moore joins a diverse group of receivers, including Joshua Palmer and Keon Coleman. The departure of Mack Hollins and Amari Cooper has opened opportunities for new talent to step up. Moore noted the camaraderie among the receivers, saying, "Everybody kind of embraces each other here."
Keon Coleman’s Offseason Transformation
Keon Coleman has been putting in the work this offseason, focusing on improving his strength and overall performance. Coach Sean McDermott praised Coleman’s progress, stating, "When [Coleman] came back, he was in really good shape."
Vince Carter’s Inspiring Visit
Minority owner and basketball Hall of Famer Vince Carter made a special appearance during OTAs. Carter, who took an ownership stake in the team during the 2024 season, shared his experiences with the players. "I just want to be an outlet to these guys," Carter said.
HBO’s Hard Knocks Comes to Buffalo
For the first time, HBO’s "Hard Knocks" will feature the Buffalo Bills during their training camp. The show’s new rules made the Bills eligible, and the team is ready to showcase their culture and personalities. Left tackle Dion Dawkins is particularly excited, noting that tight end Dalton Kincaid will stand out on the show.
Running Back Competition
With James Cook absent from voluntary activities, other running backs like Ray Davis are getting more reps with the first-team offense. Davis is focused on improving his receiving skills and making the most of this opportunity.
As OTAs progress, the Bills are building momentum and setting the stage for a promising season. Stay tuned for more updates as the team continues to prepare for the challenges ahead.
