Mike Tyson's 'Return of the Mike': A Legend's Comeback on Stage and in the Ring
Boxing icon Mike Tyson announces his one-man stage show 'Return of the Mike' and an exhibition fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr., marking a thrilling comeback.

Boxing legend Mike Tyson is set to captivate audiences once again with his latest one-man stage show, 'Return of the Mike', and a highly anticipated exhibition fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. This dual comeback promises to be a monumental event in the world of sports and entertainment.
The Stage Show
Tyson's new show, 'Return of the Mike', will debut at four Hard Rock Live venues across the United States starting in November. This marks his first stage performance since his 2013 national tour for 'Mike Tyson: The Undisputed Truth'. The show will be a 'no-filter self-analyzation', delving into Tyson's battles with addiction, mental health, and candid personal stories from his celebrated boxing career.
"A lot has happened since the last time I did a one-man show," Tyson told ESPN. "I get to tell you guys about all of my new lawsuits that you don't know about and some other pretty exciting stuff that has happened in my life."
The show will also be broadcast on a major global streaming platform in 2026, with the taping taking place on December 14 in Hollywood, Florida.
The Exhibition Fight
In addition to his stage show, Tyson will face Floyd Mayweather Jr. in an exhibition fight next spring. This fight follows Tyson's recent record-breaking match against Jake Paul, which was delayed due to a severe ulcer flare-up.
"I didn't know how dangerous an ulcer was," Tyson recalled. "I thought it was going to calm down in an hour or two, but I passed out on the plane. I was just bleeding everywhere."
Despite health concerns, Tyson managed to secure medical clearance for the fight, which he described as a 'scary' yet 'overwhelming' experience due to the overwhelming support from fans.
Tour Dates and Tickets
The four-city tour kicks off on November 9 at Hard Rock Casino in Rockford, Illinois, followed by performances in Cincinnati on November 23, Hollywood, Florida on December 14, and Atlantic City, New Jersey on January 23, 2026. Presale tickets begin on Tuesday, with general sales starting on Friday.
Preparing for the Comeback
Tyson admitted that preparing for both the stage show and the exhibition fight is a 'daunting task', especially as he approaches his 60th birthday. However, he remains confident, stating that 'athletes like myself and entertainers are able to perform because we like the pressure.'
Hard Rock's Role
Keith Sheldon, president of entertainment and brand at Hard Rock International, expressed excitement about hosting Tyson's show, stating, 'We're excited to give Mike Tyson fans exclusive access to one of the greatest athletes in history, in his most honest and entertaining form.'
Mike Tyson's 'Return of the Mike' is not just a stage show; it's a testament to his enduring legacy and resilience. Whether on stage or in the ring, Tyson continues to inspire and entertain, proving that true legends never fade.
