Francisco Lindor Shines with Home Run After Wife Katia's Stunning National Anthem Violin Performance
Francisco Lindor hits a home run after his wife Katia delivers a breathtaking violin performance of the national anthem at a Mets game.

The New York Mets celebrated a memorable evening as Katia Lindor, wife of All-Star shortstop Francisco Lindor, performed a stunning rendition of the national anthem on the violin before the game against the San Diego Padres. The couple's three children watched proudly as Katia, a classically trained violinist, captivated the crowd with her performance.
Following the anthem, Francisco Lindor carried their youngest child, Koa Amani Lindor, in celebration. The night only got better for the Lindor family when Francisco smashed his 27th home run of the season in the bottom of the second inning. Cameras captured Katia and their children cheering enthusiastically from the stands.
The evening also marked Hispanic Heritage Night at the ballpark, coinciding with Francisco being honored as the Mets' 2025 Roberto Clemente Award Nominee. Their daughter, Kalina, added to the family's involvement by delivering the "play ball" announcement before the game.
Katia, who minored in music at St. Mary's University in Texas, shared her lifelong passion for music, stating, "Music being such an intricate part of my education and upbringing since I was little, I just can't imagine my life without it." She revealed that she played classical music for her daughter during pregnancy and even purchased a pink violin for her.
Francisco Lindor continued his impressive season, singling in his first at-bat before his home run. Entering the game, he was batting .263 with 77 RBIs. The couple, married in 2021, welcomed their third child in March 2025, adding to their growing family legacy both on and off the field.
