Jess Naz Steps Up for Lionesses' Belgium Encounter

Jess Naz replaces injured Lauren James for England's Women's Nations League match against Belgium.

Jess Naz has been called up to the England squad for their Women's Nations League return fixture against Belgium on Tuesday. The 24-year-old Tottenham Hotspur forward takes the place of Lauren James, who is sidelined with a hamstring injury. James will return to Chelsea for rehabilitation after being replaced during England's 5-0 win against the same opposition on Friday at Ashton Gate. The victory put England at the top of their Nations League group. Tuesday's match against Belgium will be held in Leuven at 19:30 BST. Naz, who made her debut against the Republic of Ireland in July 2024, has six international caps so far.
