Williams' Sainz Faces Potential Further Penalty for Swearing

Carlos Sainz, the driver of Williams, has found himself in a predicament after swearing during an official news conference while discussing a prior punishment at the Japanese Grand Prix. He was fined €20,000 (£17,343), with half of it suspended, for being late for the national anthem on the grid. Sainz defended himself, but his use of a swear word now risks a further fine from the FIA.
Sainz is a director of the Grand Prix Drivers' Association and expressed his belief earlier that fining drivers for swearing was unjust. Fellow director George Russell of Mercedes also shared his frustration with the FIA.
The FIA's actions have drawn criticism, and the situation remains a topic of concern in the world of Formula 1.
