Clayton defeated Dominik Gruellich 8-2 in the final, scooping the £15,000 top prize. He also had impressive wins over Michael van Gerwen, James Wade, and Danny Noppert. Gruellich's run to the final was commendable but couldn't match Clayton's brilliance.
