West Brom sacks Tony Mowbray: A Disappointing Move in Football
West Brom sacked head coach Tony Mowbray after a series of losses.

West Bromwich Albion have made a crucial decision to sack head coach Tony Mowbray after just three months of his second spell in charge. The 61-year-old was dismissed following Monday's 3-1 home defeat by relegation-threatened Derby County, which nearly ended the Baggies' hopes of making the Championship play-offs. Mowbray was reappointed in January but led the club to only five wins in 18 games. His assistant Mark Venus has also left, and James Morrison is now in interim charge, assisted by Damia Abella and Boaz Myhill.
