Kyle Walker Celebrates Kompany and Kane's Bundesliga Triumph: A Tale of Friendship and Victory
Kyle Walker shares his joy as friends Vincent Kompany and Harry Kane clinch the Bundesliga title with Bayern Munich.

As Bayern Munich celebrated their recent Bundesliga title win, former England defender Kyle Walker received a special video call that highlighted the enduring bonds of friendship and the sweet taste of victory.
"It was Vincent Kompany," Walker revealed on The Kyle Walker Podcast. "Me and Vinny are obviously still really good friends, and he FaceTimes me probably once a month. He FaceTimed me after the win."
Kompany, now at the helm of Bayern Munich, was once Walker's teammate at Manchester City. The call was a poignant reminder of their shared history and mutual respect.
Among the jubilant celebrations was Harry Kane, who has played alongside Walker for both England and Tottenham. Walker expressed his delight at seeing Kane finally lift the first trophy of his illustrious career.
"Harry was there with a pint of beer in his hand, which I was very, very impressed with," Walker added. "It's probably a weight off his shoulders. To go there last season and not win it, and get beaten by a Leverkusen team that was very, very good, was probably a kick in the teeth for him."
Walker reflected on Kane's journey, noting the striker's near misses in major tournaments and finals. "He's been to two European Championship finals and had to walk past the trophy. He's played in cup finals, played one against me. We've played in a couple together at Tottenham and in semi-finals. For him to then finally get a trophy, I think it's definitely more than deserved."
With this victory, Kane has silenced critics who questioned his ability to win silverware. "At least no-one can start saying that anymore, that Harry Kane's not got a trophy. He's got a trophy now and that's it. It's put to bed," Walker concluded.
