The event will take place on Saturday at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky. The post time is 6:57 p.m. ET. Fans can watch the coverage starting at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC, with early coverage on Peacock from noon ET.

Twenty horses have the chance to compete. To qualify, they must participate in designated races. Journalism is the 3-1 favorite.

The post positions and odds for each horse are available. Post 5 has produced the most winners. The Triple Crown consists of the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, and Belmont Stakes. Mystik Dan won last year's derby.

The purse for the 2025 Kentucky Derby is $5 million.
