The 2025 WNBA All-Star Game is set to take place on July 19 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, with Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever and Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx leading as team captains. These two stars emerged as the top fan vote-getters, securing their spots as captains for this highly anticipated event.

All-Star Starters Announced

The All-Star starters were unveiled on June 30, featuring a mix of seasoned veterans and rising stars. Among them, Nneka Ogwumike of the Seattle Storm made history by joining the elite group of players with at least 10 WNBA All-Star selections, alongside legends like Sue Bird, Tamika Catchings, Brittney Griner, and Diana Taurasi.

The 12 reserves will be selected by the league's 13 head coaches, who will vote for three guards, five frontcourt players, and four players at either position, regardless of conference. Coaches cannot vote for their own players. The reserves will be announced on July 6 at noon ET.

The All-Star head coaches will be determined by the league standings as of July 11. The head coaches of the two teams with the best records will lead the All-Star teams, with the coach of the top team guiding Clark's roster.

The All-Star weekend kicks off on July 18 with the WNBA 3-point contest and skills challenge, both airing at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN. The main event, the All-Star Game, will take place on July 19 at 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC.

Roster Draft

Clark and Collier will draft their teams during a special WNBA Countdown on July 8 at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN. They will first select from the pool of eight starters, followed by the 12 reserves.
