Tommy Fleetwood Eyes First PGA Tour Victory at RBC Heritage as Kim Si-woo Leads

Tommy Fleetwood is just three shots behind leader Kim Si-woo heading into the final round of the RBC Heritage, aiming for his first PGA Tour victory.

RBC Heritage Third-Round Highlights

England's Tommy Fleetwood is in a strong position heading into the final round of the RBC Heritage, just three shots behind the leader, Kim Si-woo. Fleetwood carded a three-under 68, mixing five birdies with two bogeys, to improve to 12 under at the Harbour Town Golf Links in South Carolina. This performance keeps him in contention for his first PGA Tour victory.

Kim Si-woo's Dominance

South Korea's Kim Si-woo started the day two shots behind overnight leader Justin Thomas but surged ahead with a stellar 66, including six birdies, to finish at 15 under. Kim's consistent play has positioned him as the player to beat in the final round.

Justin Thomas' Resilience

Justin Thomas, who began the day as the leader, faced a setback with a one-stroke penalty on the second hole. Despite this, Thomas managed to card a 69, finishing at 14 under, just one shot behind Kim. Thomas, who last won a major at the 2022 US PGA Championship, remains a strong contender.

Other Notable Performances

Andrew Novak also shot a 66 to finish at 14 under, tied with Thomas. World number one and defending champion Scottie Scheffler is on 11 under after a 68 that included two birdies in his final four holes.

Looking Ahead

The final round promises to be an exciting showdown with multiple players in contention for the title. Fleetwood's quest for his first PGA Tour win adds an extra layer of intrigue to the tournament.
