Serie A Adjusts Schedule for Pope Francis' Funeral

In a move to pay respects to the late Pope Francis, three Serie A matches originally scheduled for Saturday have been rescheduled. The Pope, who passed away at the age of 88 on Monday, will have his funeral in Vatican City at 09:00 BST on Saturday, 26 April.

Rescheduled Matches

  • Como v Genoa and Inter Milan v Roma will now take place on Sunday.
  • Lazio v Parma has been moved to Monday.

Additional Adjustments

Following the Pope's death, four top-flight matches were postponed on Monday and rescheduled for Wednesday at 17:30. Additionally, the Coppa Italia semi-final second leg between Inter Milan and AC Milan is set for Wednesday, with the second semi-final between Bologna and Empoli on Thursday.
