Salma Paralluelo (Spain)

Salma Paralluelo is a former junior champion sprinter and hurdler who has transitioned seamlessly into football. She was a key member of Spain's 2023 World Cup-winning squad, starting five of their seven matches and scoring in the quarter and semi-finals. Paralluelo has won the Nations League and is a two-time Champions League winner with Barcelona. Wieke Kaptein (Netherlands)

Wieke Kaptein has already won multiple domestic trophies with FC Twente and Chelsea. During the 2024-25 campaign, she forced her way into Chelsea's star-studded XI, starting seven of their 10 Champions League games. Chelsea manager Sonia Bompastor praised Kaptein's work rate, stating, "She brings a lot of quality out of possession. She is really confident but also works hard off the ball." Franziska Kett (Germany)

Franziska Kett is a dynamic defender who has quickly risen through the ranks at Bayern Munich. Sydney Schertenleib (Switzerland)

Sydney Schertenleib has quickly established herself as a first-team regular at Barcelona since moving from Grasshopper Zurich last summer. She has started all but two of Barcelona's league matches since the beginning of March and came off the bench in both legs of their Champions League quarter-final against Wolfsburg. Switzerland boss Pia Sundhage has preferred to use her as a right-sided striker, yielding two goals in her first 10 appearances. Playing on home soil, Schertenleib is set to make a significant impact at Euro 2025.
Alice Sombath (France)
Age: 21 Position: Defender Club: Lyon
Alice Sombath is one of the promising young French defenders looking to capitalize on the omission of Wendie Renard from the squad for the Euros. She joined Lyon aged 16 from Paris St-Germain and made her senior debut alongside club legend Renard. Former Lyon manager Joe Montemurro said, "I think she's going to become a special player.
