Rangers and Leicester in Advanced Talks Over Conor Coady Transfer
Rangers are in advanced talks with Leicester City for the transfer of experienced centre-back Conor Coady, as both clubs look to strengthen their squads ahead of the new season.

Rangers are reportedly in advanced talks with Leicester City over the potential transfer of Conor Coady, a 32-year-old experienced centre-back. Coady, who has one year left on his current contract with the recently relegated Premier League club, is open to the move to Ibrox. This transfer could significantly bolster Rangers' defensive line as they prepare for the upcoming season.
In addition to Coady, Rangers are also eyeing Aaron Ramsdale, the 27-year-old England international goalkeeper currently with Southampton. Ramsdale, who earns £100,000 per week, is reportedly available for a loan move, with both Galatasaray and Rangers showing interest.
On the offensive front, Rangers have set an asking price of £20m for Hamza Igamane, a 22-year-old forward attracting interest from Marseille and Lazio. While this figure is high, there is room for negotiation.
Rangers are also in talks with Peterborough United midfielder Kwame Poku, aiming to convince the 23-year-old to join on a free transfer. Meanwhile, Twente Enschede remains interested in bringing Robin Propper back to the Dutch club from Rangers.
In other transfer news, Celtic are confident of securing a season-long loan deal for Brighton & Hove Albion striker Evan Ferguson, despite competition from Everton and Nottingham Forest. Celtic are also in advanced talks with RB Leipzig over the transfer of Nicolas Kuhn, with the fee expected to be around £10.2m.
These potential moves highlight the busy transfer activity in Scottish football as clubs look to strengthen their squads for the upcoming season.
