Former world youth champion Bradley Brooks has claimed his maiden PDC ProTour title at the Players Championship 21 in Leicester. The 25-year-old showcased exceptional skill and determination, defeating notable players Chris Dobey and James Wade on his path to the final. In a thrilling showdown, Brooks faced off against former world champion Gerwyn Price, ultimately securing an 8-5 victory.

Brooks took an early lead with a remarkable 13-dart leg, setting the tone for the match. His performance not only earned him the £15,000 top prize but also guaranteed his place in December's World Darts Championship.

"I'm lost for words," Brooks expressed after his win. "This week, I felt so comfortable in my own game, and everything clicked. I'm over the moon." He added, "I treated the final like I had nothing to lose. I can't put into words how much it means to me."

Reflecting on his journey, Brooks acknowledged the challenges he faced throughout the year. "I struggled a couple of times this year, and I still have that bad game in me, but I think when I do get it right, I can mix it with the best in the room."
