"With how golf is now, there is a lot of money around it. To be part of it and be able to benefit from it is good, but I want to let my golf do the talking and that's more important," he stated.

McKibbin is still eligible to play in the Irish Open due to the ongoing conflict between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf. This allows him to retain his DP World Tour membership while competing under the LIV banner. He expressed his desire for a resolution that would enable him to continue participating in major tournaments. "I think everyone just wants it to work out and play together," McKibbin said.

McKibbin is determined to add more victories to his name and continue his upward trajectory in the sport. "I want to win more. It is life-changing and to be fortunate enough to have that is nice, but hopefully I can get a few more wins," he added.
