Charley Hull Secures Thrilling Victory at Queen City Championship
Charley Hull clinched her third LPGA Tour title with a dramatic win at the Queen City Championship, overtaking Jeeno Thitikul on the final hole.

Charley Hull claimed her third LPGA Tour title in a nail-biting finish at the Queen City Championship, overcoming world number one Jeeno Thitikul on the final hole. Hull trailed by one shot heading into the par-five 18th hole, but Thitikul's four-putt bogey opened the door for Hull to secure victory with a two-foot birdie putt.
"I wasn't really watching her putt for birdie because I thought she was going to hole it," Hull said. "I guess it's not over until the fat lady sings, but I was shaking over that last putt because I just didn't expect it. But yeah, it feels great."
Both Hull and Thitikul reached the final green in two shots, with Thitikul initially putting her first putt within six feet of the cup. Hull missed her eagle chance, but Thitikul failed to capitalize, missing both her birdie attempt and her putt for par, which would have forced a playoff. Hull made no mistake with her birdie chance, finishing at 20 under par and taking home the $300,000 prize.
England's Lottie Woad finished third, one shot behind Thitikul, after shooting her best round of the week, a six-under 66, on Sunday. Hull, who had finished runner-up in her last two tournaments, held a two-stroke lead over Thitikul at the turn on Sunday. Thitikul closed the gap to one on the 10th, and both birdied the 11th. However, Hull's bogey at the 13th allowed Thitikul to take the lead with a birdie at the next hole.
Hull responded with a birdie on the 16th, but another bogey on the 17th gave Thitikul the advantage she ultimately squandered at the last. Hull's victory marks her first LPGA Tour win since 2022 and solidifies her status as one of the top players in women's golf.
