Midway through the 2024-25 season, the Toronto Maple Leafs are sitting atop the Atlantic Division, four points clear of the Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers. Led by last year's Rocket Richard Trophy winner Auston Matthews, the Maple Leafs are a competitive bunch that has made some significant offseason moves. In the East, only the Washington Capitals have a greater winning percentage. So, is it too ridiculous to consider Toronto a legit contender for the President's Trophy?
