British tennis player Jacob Fearnley secures his first ATP main draw win on clay.
Jacob Fearnley, the British number two, has made history by claiming his first ATP Tour main draw win on clay at the Barcelona Open. As a lucky loser in the main draw, he defeated Roberto Carballes Baena 6-1 7-5 to reach the second round. Fearnley's rapid rise from being ranked outside the top 600 a year ago to currently 74th is remarkable. Meanwhile, Billy Harris lost to David Goffin at the Munich Open.
